Circle The Path and it straddles the line somewhere between
old-school free jazz, contemporary improvisation, the blues, and standard
composition. There are some favourable reviews at Left
Hip Magazine and Coke
Machine Glow.
Jesse's current
solo album, Dementia,
has also been receiving great reviews. Check out this review from The
Wire! The album pivots between solo improvised violin, micro-mandolin
orchestras and minimal electronic-influenced sound design.
"Dementia is a stunning recording, both highly personal
and yet technically fascinating, somehow simultaneously open and closed,
rich in allusion, technique, music and mystery." - Musicworks
Magazine (Stuart Broomer)
